    So I am making a theme for the curve and the pearl and I was wondering if there was a way to have the trackball switch icons on the home screen by moving it side to side instead of up and down?

    Only if you have a theme that will allow that type of control. Like the "L" Zen Theme.

    i have noticed that if there is NO profile icon on the home screen, but it will go any which way. also it depens on how your icons are placed.
