Options, theme, you can change them there, is that what you mean?
No I have a them I downloaded. In the "lecture 101" series of tutorials it states to change a file so that you do not have to use "vendor" themes. I can't seem to find that file.
Hmmmmmm..
oh its the vendor.xml file
I really am lost on your post.
If you have them on your phone already, then options, theme, will bring them up so you can change them..
Where are they downloaded too?
Zip files on your desktop?
The file you need to add to DM to upload is the .axl file. Thats the one you need to install via DM.
If they are .JAD files, you need todownload then over the air (OTA) using your BB browser, an easy way to do this, is highlight and paste the link in an email to yourself on your BB, when you get it, click the link in that email and it will prompt you to install,, then options, theme will change them
Noooo. That has nothing to do with themes.
oh then i'm completely lost too if that's not what he's talking about.
OP- do you mean unlocking all vendor themes?
okay it was on a .zip file, but based on the tutorial I read, I thought I had to edit that other file first.
I just uploaded it through DM, cross your fingers for me! lol
Thanks!
BB Vet - I was just going by the CB "lecture 101" series in the Newbies area.
You dont need to edit anything, so long as the file you want to upload is .axl.
You should see two files after you extract them, .cod and .axl
You need the .axl one
haha i was thinking too hard lol
did it work?
Yay it worked!
Thank you rachel0179 :)
I would have been searching for another hour! lol
I have just started making my own themes and I am trying to use my DM to put my theme on my bb but I do that exactly how the lecture series says to, but then where should I find that on my phone? Is there a more complete guide for that? Or how would I create an OTA link? I saw somewhere that you can just email that to yourself. Help please!!!
