Theme studio is the only program available to create themes.

And really, it's hard to rate how hard it will be for you, not knowing how custom you intend to go, or what kind of graphics knowledge/software you have available to you.

However, Theme Studio does come with a built in User Guide, and you can find tutorials online to help ya.

Good luck! If you enjoy it, it can become addictive. lol
