More information needed. Were you doing an OTA download, or did you download a .zip file to your PC?
If you downloaded a .zip file, did you extract the files to the .cod/.alx files? Then use Desktop Manager's Application Loader to open the .alx file?

i am thinking it is IT protected would that have anything to do with it those did not work for me either? Thanks
If there is an IT policy, then yes, that does sound like that is your problem.

do you know a way around this ?
If your phone is work issued, there is no why out of the IT policy. If it's your own personal BB that you bought with an IT policy on it, there are ways to remove it.

That is a bunch of BS wow that sucks
Unfortunately, it's the company's BB and they can and do have a say in what you are allowed to download on it.

yea well it isnt theirs i paid for it and pay the bill the only thing they have on it is lotus notes big deal remove me then! not happy
Thanks for the help
No problem.
Maybe you can talk to someone in the IT dept? They might be able to "relax" your IT policy so it isn't so restrictive, since it is your personal BB and not their property.
