nicklc's is similar but has alot of differences also. Your's (brace yourself for harsh reality) does not even compare. Now quit crapping on tom's thread.

If you follow Tom's thread from the start, the original was free. And I'm sure many people still have it including me but his work ought to be appreciate it so I didn't mind at all to buy a cool theme just for $5.

Ok I paid for and downloaded the Replica theme to my 8320. No dice....I can see it in the apps section but not in theme option. Is there something I'm missing at OS 4.5.0.124?

Do you remove other default theme ? Usually people with Maxmem remove other theme and left Dimension Zen cannot use 3rd party theme, solution is restore all your theme (by doing an upgrade again) and don't remove default 4 themes.

I'm not really sure what you see as being cut off, I used the icons in their entirety without cropping them. If you look in the picture below, that is how the star will look on the new L theme and the updates to the icon and bottom docktheme.

Since most of the publicity the 8900 is getting is indeed with the aurora borealis wallpaper, I was wondering if anyone thought I should go ahead and change the default wallpaper to that. I want people to be able to associate this theme with the 8900 (javelin) but, at this point, I'm not quite sure if the purple lightning wallpaper is still what most people think of when they think 8900 (javelin). What do you think?



The aurora borealis is the default wallpaper that comes with the 8900, much like the sunrise wallpaper was the default wallpaper that came with the bold and the highway wallpaper that comes with the curve/pearl. The lightning wallpaper that comes with the curve 8900 is much like the blue wallpaper that comes with the bold. Check the hyperlinks to see what Im saying.

By the way I think I may know the reason for the Myspace notification issue that people like myself have reported. I think that the new Myspace message indicator is in the same spot on the bannder as the new message indicator. So if you have a new message and new Myspace message at the same time, the Myspace indicator does not appear.

Does that seem like it's possible?

The banner is able to display about 3 message indicators with a single digit count, e.g. 1 message, 1 sms message, 1 bbmessage, or 9 message, 5 sms, 7 bbmessage, etc. Sometimes if you go into double digits, it will display 10 sms, 10 email, and it won't display the 9 bbmessage until one of the digits gets cleared off of the sms and email or all of the sms or email are checked to remove the indicator. This is because there is only a certain specified space for these indicators. I'm not really sure how long the message indicator for myspace is, it could be perhaps too long to display with another message or it could be something else. I'm not exactly sure what happens as I'm not able to get myspace working on my phone. I'll try later on to see if I can. however, I'm not sure I would be able to fix this problem anyways as it will most likely be caused by 3rd party software.
