As you can see from my profile, I'm new to this forum as well as to Blackberry's. I'm loving the themes and especially this one. I have one question that I'm sure is going to be a completely rookie question, but is there a way that I can change the icons on the homescreen? There are some that I would like to change out with what is provided.
Thanks for your time.
I LOVE this theme. It looks wonderful on my Curve. Clear, to the point and beautiful. Thanks for taking the time to perfect it; your effort was not in vain! Amazing.
Great job. I appreciate the time and effort you put into this. Needless to say this is my new favorite. Nice and clean. Clock is big enough I can see it. Font is big enough for my poor eyesight. Just an overall nice job. Keep up the great work............when you have time. LOL
I've seen on this thread that fonts and icons are adjustable, or user-definable. Where do I do this. (Sheepishly apologizes for dumb question....)
Not dumb questions at all, very good ones in fact. The icons are changeable by going to the applications page on the phone, hovering over a particular icon, then clicking the menu button and select "move". Now use the trackball to roll the icon to it's desired location in the pecking order and then click the trackball to set. The idea being if there's 6 icons displayed on the homepage, you move the apps you want into the first 6 slots of the apps page (which happens to be the entire upper row in this case). They will then show up in that same order on the homepage.
To change font size, go to Options > Screen/Keyboard and adjust there. Bear in mind that some things, such as the homescreen fonts are not adjustable by the user on BB themes and are a function of the theme design itself. Items such as your message lists, etc. will change.
Love the look of these but I have an 8520. Any chance of a conversion so I can use them please!!!!?????
I don't know but the 8520 themes are the ones people are using on their 8330's with the leaked 5.0 OS so there must be some compatibility there. Not sure if it will work as is or if there'd be some sort of workaround needed. Evidently there's a patch for theme builder to allow us to make themes in the 8520 template. If I can figure it all out, I'll let you know.
