Usually when that happens, the theme is not made for your phone. Did you double-check before downloading ? Just a thought.

First, what type of file was it that you downloaded and how did you download it? Was it a ZIP file or OTA? And did you download using a computer or your phones browser?

I had it sent by ota. it gave me the option to send it by email or text. i chose the text option. I tried downloading it again without deleting it first, the bb recognizes the download because it asked me if i wanted to replace it with the new. I hope that makes sense

Ok, what OS is the theme designed for (4.2 and higher or 4.5) and what OS are you running on your phone (4.5 or lower)?

When you're looking at a theme, usually in the info given, it will say something along the lines of "This theme is designed for 4.* OS." So to make sure your phone is compatible with the theme, on your phone, go to Options>About, third line down will tell you what OS (operating system) you're running. Only pay attention to the first two numbers (4.*) when looking for themes.

Ok. And what OS version is on the device?

Go to Options > About and read the third line.

how can i get os higher, or is 4.3 standard on my bb?

4.3 is standard on all Curves, but not the highest they can go. In here: http://forums.crackberry.com/f52/ you will find your device model at the top with the latest OS available for your phone.

This thread, although it says it's for the 8100 series, shows the process of upgrading your phone: http://forums.crackberry.com/f5/upgr...step-z-188139/ Just replace the OS with the OS designed for your phone and don't worry about the BlingBall app.
