I purchased this phone on eBay and it came with the iPhone theme preinstalled and I can't change the icons on the desktop. There's only 2 items in the top section and I know I can have 3. And along the bottom there's a few applications that I don't use regularly. I tried moving my most frequently used apps to the top of my list by using the drop-down box and "move" but when I go back to the home screen, nothing has changed.

Some themes aren't customizable. It's just how they are designed. You will probably have to switch to a different theme.

Its probably not a customizable theme. Look into the theme section of this site and you will find other iphone themes that are.

This is the theme I have. Since it says custom that means that it's already customized?

Try using a different theme like rlp32 said - or remove that theme and install a new one (try bPhone its free).

The theme you linked me to shows you can customize the bottom 7 icons. But I dont think so for the top 3. I wonder if you have a theme that is similar to this one?
