how long do the messages stay listed on the screen? is it once you read them? cause sometimes i even delete them and they are still on the screen. any ideas why?

Far as I know the Today themes are set up to display new messages only. Don't think you can change that. Once you view the messages folder all the messages disappear from your home screen.

Atleast that's how it works on my phone!

thats exactly right once there read they should be removed from the today screen. You may want to try and switching to another theme and then back to see if that helps.

a battery pull worked for the most part. i realized it happened more when i slid it out of the holster and went directly to the messages screen. if this ever happens to any one else, all you do is under options, put as mark prior opened. that does the trick.

if your message is read and/or erased it should not show on the main screen if it does .... like always do a batt pull or the theme may be faulty

I seem to have lost my original themes.
All I have is the Verizon one and when I try to
change them the only one that appears is the
    night storm one.
    Any clues?
