    What OS are you running?
When that happens it's not the right OS type for your phone.
To check go to Options-About it's the third line.

Did you click on the application icon? After the download you actually have to run the app to load it. Then it should show up.

Try un-installing the theme THEN install it again

Make sure you are downloading the right theme for your OS and device model. Uninstall the theme you just downloaded and start again.

Check Options > Advanced Options > Applications for the theme. If it's there, click on it. It may list OS and device information like this:Attachment 16693

Is that the free 2nd birthday theme? If so it should work. By any chance did you not scroll through the theme list? If I have more than 4 themes on my BB they don't all show in one view in the list.

You could always try a battery pull as well and see if it shows up in your themes afterwards.

Yep. You can check it, Options > About, 3rd line. My guess is that the theme was made for OS 4.5 and above.

Most themes now are exported for 4.5 due to plazmic.
