Bypass or program Theme
Does anyone know if I can manually create my own "Theme" or else how to manually pick which icons go on the desktop?
The themes while creative, seem rather constricting. The "Zen" profile has 5 user selectable icons on the desktop which you can effectively pick by changing the order of the icons on the "applications" page. I.E. whichever the first 5 icons on the "applications" page are, those 5 icons that will appear on the desktop. If you play around with the "Zen" theme you'll see what I mean... but what if I want 7 icons on my desktop? Does anyone know how to bypass the whole "theme" concept?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Grab the "L" theme. I've seen it posted elsewhere in the forums and gives you 8-10 icons on the desktop.

OK, since I'm curious too, I'll chime in.
But more than just a suggestion to use the L theme, hopefully someone will give more input about the original question. How do you create a custom theme?
Has anyone seen, posted, linked, or written any guides that show basics for developing BB themes?

Check the Media Corner in the forums you should be able to find an answer to your question there.
