I still have not had any luck getting the thm to export at all. Even when I try to export to alx without making a single change to the thm it crashes CDK every time. I have even left the thm file named exactly as you have it named and I have tried exporting to a different folder too. This is bugging me. The thm seems fine but yet it will not export no matter what. Other thm files I have export fine. Anyone else had any success getting this thm file to export on your computer??? Someone download this thm give it a try and post back your results.

That's weird. I just downloaded and tried to export from the file and it worked. I even made some changes then exported from the file and it worked. I dunno what could be causing your crashes. Did you have another computer to test on?

Yes...you must give a lot of thanks to anyone who spends a LOT of time creating and fine tuning a theme such as this one (Bold Theme) where all the icons have to be edited one by one (after extracting them or sourcing them otherwise) and placed in their proper location within the theme itself. Along with all the other custom created transparent icons etc. that go into a theme such as this to keep it as close to it's original form as possible. AND... actually sharing the .thm file which is the master file that contains all the files and exports the theme to the format that can then be installed on your Blackberry.
So my thanks goes out to you nicklc for your time, skills and generousity.

Wow, thanks. I did spend a lot of time and I'm happy to share it with everyone. It first started as a personal project and grew to something more. So, I'm glad that you guys like it.

Forgive me, I'm a new BB user. Will this download to my Curve 8330 device okay? If so, I download this to my desktop and unzip the file and use my BB Manager to install it, correct?

    Thanks.

Yah, it should work on a 8330 as it is still a curve. And you are correct about how to install it with Desktop Manager.

There isn't any internal difference between the Verizon or Sprint model, right? I've just recieved my Sprint Curve and I'm starting to download Mp3s, but that's about it until tomorrow or the next day.

Theres no difference in the 8330 sprint and the 8330 curve as far as software compatability goes. They are both cdma devices.

Just a small update. I changed some of the message icons and title bars to make it all seem more uniform. Screen shots and files can be seen here or you can get it from the first post as well.

    Nice job on the Theme!!!

Quick Question: (apologize if someone already had this one in the thread) Is there any plans to show the "sound profile" icon on the today panel? Is there any special reason why is missing?

    Thanks.

I didn't include the sound profile icon because I thought it cluttered the screen too much in the banner. You can use the plazmic theme file and add it yourself though.

I see what you have meant. Is there any way to make the profile icon smaller (same as all other icons on the panel)? For some reason i don't see such option on Plazmic.

You have to re-size the actual icon and put it back into the Plazmic program, but it does take the icon that is already used on the homescreen with all the other applications. All you have to do is turn on the profiles icon in Plazmic with the checkbox.

After seeing that some people like the profile icon, I decided to do some changes to the banner and include it.

Actually, all the icons I used are in the Plazmic .thm file. If you want to edit the icons, you can right click the text for the image in Plazmic (eg. "Background:" for the background image) and choose edit and it will open the program that you have assigned for the file extension. If you need to, you can change that application in Edit>Preferences>Applications>Images>Application Path.
