i just played a youtube vid on my curve and when i went to close the media player it rebooted.
running 4.5.0.42
anyone else have the issue?

you should upgrade to a higher version OS...i would suggest .46

Hmm. Could it be perhaps you have other apps running in the background or have low memoury??

Take Jason's advice and try going up, if not

ya i have plenty of memory. i usually hover around like 23-22mb

ok so i'll see about upgrading to .46

I get the same thing with the CDMA version of 4.5.

If I am watching Youtube I have to make sure my screen doesn't time out on me. If it does I can be sure that it will crash my berry when I click my trackball to light the screen up.

I also found that I can't watch .mov files with 4.5 on my berry. It just makes the screen flash until I either shut down media player or my berry resets on its own.

Happened to me a few times on previous OS betas. I think it has to do with the memory leak.

nah my memory has been fine
it might have been cause i had like nooo signal and it was trying to do too much. cause i did it again with better signal and it was fine

Could be the signal but I definately would upgarde to .46. The OS it very stable and seems ready for release.
