I cant watch youtube videos on my 8300. I read somewhere I dont have the correct version of BB software. My BB shows v4.2.2.166 (platform 2.4.0.73). does that mean I have an older version? Where do I upgrade? How do I upgrade? Or do I need a player to play youtube videos?

Hi,

I can't tell which carrier you have because I'm using wap now, but upgrading to a higher OS will let you view YouTube video on your device.

HOWEVER, if you plan on upgrading, be careful as you can kill your phone if you don't do it properly. You should read the forums about upgrading then find out which is the right OS for you.
