This suddenly showed up on my 8310! Appears to be something sponsored by RIM. Under advanced options/applications it does not show up. Why do I have it and how can i rid myself of it?
This appears to be a new service book with At&t. Go to options > advanced options > service book and look for Yellow Pages VPL iand delete it. The only problem is the next time you re-register your device or resend service books, it will probably pop up again and you will have to redelete.
I try this application and it works pretty darn well. i freaked out because it just show up... it will nice of ATT to tells when they are sending us anything....but then again...what do you expect from them..if they havent release 4.5 yet or the Bold.....Oh well

Well what do you expect from tmobile, sprint, and verizon, seeing as the havent either.
This happened to me as well but its actually a cool app if you give it a chance. Cheaper than 411.
Just use Goog411 (google it, i can't post links yet), it's free. Also, if you are looking for a business in your area, just fire up Google Maps & use the search feature, it usually has the # also which you can dial directly from Google Maps, and plus you will have already found the location you want as well.
