I've been battling with them since the 4.5 update about blackberry maps not working. Have been back and fourth with them to only be told that they block the where am I feature and start gps navigation on the phone. I have been told by a couple of reps that they are running the 4.7 OS on the phone and they got it from here if so could anyone please tell me where it is? Also I was told tonight that they had a RIM rep in yestorday and they are working on version 4.8 for the 8330 curve to completely unlock google maps and bb maps as well as fix any other small bugs should be out in the next month to month and a half. that saud anyone know where on here i can get the 4.7 O/S to install till the 4.8 is released?

I have 4.5 on my curve and bb maps works fine both features u talk about are unlocked now on verizon

You'll find the most current version of the 8330 OS here. Newest 8330 OS 4.5.0.89

We cannot post links or make requests on where to find newer unreleased OS's. Sorry.

BTW, BBMaps is working fine for me on 4.5.

4.7 is only for the Storm. Hopefully 4.8 fixes alot of the issues users have been having with 4.5.77.

I am still running the 4.3.0.127 from sprint. Works ok for me. I have setup a storm and it worked just fine.

Yes after many words back and fourth with Verizon I got a phone call saying that on Dec 3rd 2008 they unlocked it so it would work
