Just checked BB website again and found this.

BlackBerry Internet Service 2.5 supports the downloading, viewing, and editing of the following types of attachments in their native file formats:

.zip
.txt
.html
Adobe� Acrobat� (.pdf)
WordPerfect� (.wpd)
Microsoft� Word (.doc)
Microsoft� Excel� (.xls)
Microsoft� PowerPoint� (.ppt)
Audio file formats
Video file formats
For more information on supported audio and video file formats, see KB05482.

This feature requires BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.

Subscribers can download original file format attachments that are up to 3MB in size.

BTW, right now you should be able view wordperfect, but cannot modify. I know the wife can
