I have a Curve 8310. I followed the instuctions on how to put the micro sd card into the phone. I went to see if the media card is active and it said no media card inserted.
Try taking it out and reinserting it. Make the contacts are clean. If this does not work, try placing it in computer to see if you can see it there. If no, then it is a bad card
Is it a new card? If it is and you continure to have the same issue then bring it back to where you purchased it and exchange it for a new card.
I had issues with a 4gb card at one time. My BB would not recognize it not would my PC. Radio Shack exchanged it without a problem.
