Hey i would like to wipe and reinstall 5.0 on my curve 8330

I will either wipe through security options or through software that does it.

Which is the best option?

I would like to do a complete wipe and i was wondering if i would lose my pin if i did this?

You won't lose your pin as a result of a wipe. It is also not necessary to wipe it manually. The OS installation process will wipe it for you. If you are a new BlackBerry user, I suggest you get familiar with the OS on your device before you attempt to upgrade it. That will help you appreciate the improvements, if any, and also help you recognize problems that may occur. Installing an OS is not difficult, but it is not trivial either, especially for a new user, and even experienced users can have problems.
