I am really curious, is there any word that any 83xx phone is getting it? Cause if one carrier decides to put it on, then there is at least a shred of hope that others will do the same.
Haha I know you were being serious, but for some reason it made me laugh. But yeah Motorcycle Mama is right, we are probably never going to get it. Someone will most likely build a hybrid though with 6.0 files.
Hybrid? Care to elaborate what that is? All I am interested in is the Webkit browser... if I can get that then I would probably start using the default browser

Hybrids take files from the original OS and improves it. Like fixes memory issues, bugs, battery life, etc.
Quick questions,
Will the curve 8530 be getting 6.0?
What is the best Hybrid for 8330 on Boost Mobile, I sometimes cannot stand that multitasking slows it down, it's on the latest 5.0 OS.
Your welcome, I'm using the latest version right now and it works great. I have a couple of apps and games installed, and I still get around 30 MB of memory after a battery pull. You won't be disappointed, but remember to read the tutorial EXACTLY the way its written and you will have no problems.
BTW BBTweaks just recently put up a new hybrid that has 6.0 files, and its suppose to have made the web browser better. Its only open to VIP members as of right now, but in a week or two it should be up to the public. CrackBerry member jbarbero (member of BBTweaks team) can confirm this.
Yeah for me it made it a little faster, but I have Sprint so it might differ for you. Well regardless I'm going to keep checking the site every week until they release the new hybrid to the public. I'm hoping that will improve the browser more then the hybrid I'm running right now.
I have another question, why does this specific blackberry happen to have a hybrid? I know they have them for the Storms and that Bold on the site, but why only for this Curve?
It's because the curve's lack of memory. It has to little memory to have the full OS on it and still perform well, so they have to shrink the OS and make the hybrid so it can take less memory up. So then the curve won't perform sluggish as it does with the original Boost Mobile 5.0 OS, and still have the features of 5.0.
No it has the most. That's why the other curves in the 83xx series don't get hybrids like the 8330. For example, a 5.0 hybrid on a 8320 won't give it threaded texting, but a 8330 with a 5.0 hybrid will have threaded texting. I mean I'm not an expert in hybrids, but I do know a little.
