I'm currently overseas and would love to call home for free... if possible.
I turned off my mobile network to ensure that I couldn't be charged and tried making a call on a WIFI network. It dialed and then stopped with the message "radio path unavailable"
if my mobile network is active but the WIFI is set as prefered will there be charges to my account?

HELP PLEASE!!!
May i suggest calling your carrier and ask them whether or not calling international from a "WIFI" connection would result in astronomical charges; & if it doesn't then explain your situation to have them properly assist you with the steps of troubleshooting your situation.
