I just got my new curve 8900 last week.... I am somewhat disappointed. I live in the country with really bad reception, but I can get 2-3 bars at time with my almost 2 yr old 8310, but not with the brand new 8900.

The 8310 seems faster too... again i live in the country so out at the house the speed is very slow, but I can still use the internet, I can barely ever get the 8900 to work.

WTH is going on? Am I crazy or did I get a dud? I got it through the amazonwireless for the 2 yr upgrade at 49.99

It might not necessarily be the model that's problem. Have you tried a battery pull recently?
