Some of my icons have lost their color and now appear muted and/or gray.

Anyone?

go to menu> show all...

You have them hidden with show all checked.

Access the menu from the desktop (the flying d's key) and verify that you have the Show All option checked. If so, that is why you are seeing the gray "hidden" applications. You can then either scroll over each icon and allow it to be shown or hidden. Then uncheck the Show All selection and "poof" there gone!

I dont want them hidden, but they appear clear, while others are in full color. I would like all of them to be full color.

Thanks everyone. For some reason some of the icons were "hidden." Not sure how that happened but all better now.
