    I've deleted languages, sample video, factory pictures, brickbreaker, assword, help, etc. using CrackMem. The only applications I have are facebook and google app. I've deleted phone logs, all old texts and emails as well.

    Am I missing something here or is this normal? I'm running to East Asia 4.5 on my 8320.........FWIW

    You should only be worried if it drops below 12,xxx,xxx

    27 is huge,

    I run sms display on, peekawho, BBAlerts, Weathereye, vibandring, viigo and the crackberry launcher, Im at 22,xxx,xxx

    True, I've got over 9 apps running with 54MB free. As long as you don't run under 12MB, you should be fine.

    Nope no issues.........I just thought my memory would be much higher since I've deleted quite a bit of stuff and don't have many apps.

    There's a big difference between 27k and 27mb.

    The most I ever have is about 18+mb

    27,000 is VERY good for a File Free Memory number! Wouldn't worry about it...

    That's funny! I didn't even notice the k . The phone wouldn't even work!!

    27MB out of 55MB is normal. The core BB software will take up quite a bit.

    just curious if any one has done this...but can i delete all the cod files for google, icq, yahoo, etc? i only use aim. will this be a good idea to clear up mem? what other cod files should i delete. ive deleted password keeper and vad only.

    Dumping the 2 Push to Talk files will help! Voice activated dialing is another; and how about removing the extra themes (except you have to keep BB Dimension Zen at least - its a template) - a lotta extra space to be gained there.

    Ok I have done the above mentioned items and here is where i sit. Not sure what the number is or if it is good.

    my Total is 57,278,464 Bytes
    Free is Around 16,629,746 Bytes.

    Is this good, Right after I do a battery pull I have close to 20,000,000, but quickly go down to the average listed above. Once I get down to 13,000,000 I do a battery pull.

    Can someone tell me what this is and if it is good.

    It's fine. Another thing to check is to open the media player, once you see the camera, ringtone icons, press the. Menu button then Options and change Device Memory Limit from 12 or 15 to 5. That way devic memory has to get down to less than 5 mb before it starts deleting things.
