I don't know how i've got this idea in my head, but I'm concerned that when 4.5 does come my way, when i install for some reason i'll lose my carphone warehouse navigator.
can someone tell me if i'm just being a silly billy?

Yes I believe so. When you do backup before you upgrade the OS only certain things will be saved. 3rd Party apps don't get saved I believe.

Like it was loaded from your carrier? If your carrier releases their own 4.5 update then it should be there but I am not 100% sure how that stuff works.

Not all 3rd party apps get reloaded.

Only 3rd party apps NOT supported by the new OS will disappear. CPW Navigator will probably be ready.

Applications are still there. But make sure you backup just to be safe.

it will copy them over, but due to major changes in 4.5 alot that do work dont atm in 4.5, on major changes you might have to wait for 3rd party apps to get updated, all rim apps/carrier ones will be updated, theirs a setting in under advance if you want to xfer them or not, with an os upgrade
