    I have 8330

I have downloaded a ton of 320x240 wallpapers, but when i open them on my PC at 100% size, they look a lot larger than my blackberry screen if i hold it up to it.

    Are those the wrong ones?

I know they will fit the screen regardless but id like to make my own custom one to fit around my theme, need exact dimensions

    Curve: 320x240

I have made numerous wallpapers for my curve. Even though it looks bigger on your monitor that's the true size on a Curve.

    I believe the Pearl's is 240x160
I'd have to ask my wife. She has a Pearl.

Your PC Monitor resolution makes a difference on how large or small images appear to be. For example, an image that is 320x240 pixels in size may look about one and a half times larger on a monitor with resolution set to 800x600, than that of 1024x768.

the monitor pixels are physically bigger depending on the quality of your monitor.
normally the small LCD screens like phone and MP3 player screens can get away with smaller pixel size which means you have more pixels on smaller space.

    in simple words.
