    RF = radio frequency

    When too may RF signals are around some of the same frequency can interfere with each other.

    Example - I use to connect my computer wirelessly to my router. Everytime my wife would use the cordless phone, I would get knocked offline.

    This is only one example.

    If you saw the references to RF issues in the 4.5.0.138 and 4.5.0.160 OS update threads then they were refering to problems with the cdma curves cycling between 1XEV, 1X, 1x, and 1xev. This could be cleared by doing a battery pull, but it shouldn't happen in the first place.
