I believe Rogers is GSM...but the 8330 is CDMA...so you'd have to switch over to Bell or Telus to use it.

oh... so r u saying that the 8330 is STRICTLY a CDMA device and there will be no GSM version?.... if so, then i guess i can do my upgrade right now then.... im still curious to know if that's the only diff between the 2 phones

The 8330 is just the name for the CDMA version of the Curve. 8300, 8310, and 8320 are all GSM versions with slight variations of WiFi, GPS, etc. If you're on Rogers, you will not be able to get the 8330, so you should choose the 8300, 8310, or 8320.

You can buy an 8320 off our Buy Sell site (or eBay, etc.) and use on Rogers, if it is an unlocked device (to work on other carriers other than the one it is branded to).

correct - the 8320 doesn't have the gps

i have an 8310 & the GPS feature is so convenient for when i'm in search of local businesses, restaurants, & etc that are near me.
