Probably a dumb question. But I've noticed PIN#'s next to alot of user's avatars. Just wondering what that's about, and what it does for other people to have.

PIN is a personal identification number to which every blackberry is assigned. It is used mainly for PIN messaging and for BBM. It's an easy way to keep in touch with other BB users without that person actually knowing your number. You will need a data plan to use the PIN features though.

It is how you BBM someone else with a BB.
If you want your pin go to options> status and you will see your pin there.
