The 8350i is the newest followed by the 8330. The best is subjective, it depends on the person.
8310 = GPS, no Wifi, GSM phone
8320 = Wifi, no GPS, GSM phone
8330 = GPS, More memory, CDMA Phone
8350i = GPS, Wifi, OS 4.6, DirectConnect, iDEN phone.

In the USA 8310 and 8320 can be used on AT&T and T-Mobile (GSM). 8330 can be used on Verizon and Sprint (CDMA) and 8350i is for Nextel/Sprint (iDen).
