Are they the same except one has GPS? How about size wise? Which one would be good for someone just using for calls/texting?

Only difference is what trelawrence said. Other than that they are exactly the same device. Both great for texting/calls.

if you have wifi on your phone do you have to pay extra for that option or would it be free with a wireless router?
