It's a great thing. After a week now I am completely hooked and will never go back to another device (even dumped my iPhone 3G).
It takes some getting used to but after that period (2 days for me) it is incredibly powerful.

Read the news
Mail
Blackberry Messenger
Wallstreet Journal
Crackberry (of course, this site rocks!)
Keep all my information in Sync (1 Mac, 1 WinPC, 2 Blackberries)
Keep track of my friends at facebook
Upload pics to my blog and Picasa
Listen to the incredibly powerful Music Player (richer sound and louder than iPhone)
Watch movies

I could go on for some pages like that...

Enjoy it and go with the flow I'd say...
