First, I love my Curve. Still learning and I have a question. In the upper right corner next to the speaker and little globe and a #1 appeared. What is this and how do I get rid of it? Thanks

That is a browser notification. At one point you must have been surfing the web and your device lost coverage. When that happens you'll have the option to receive a notification when the device goes back into coverage.

If you go into your Messages icon, you should see a 'message' with this same icon next to it. Click on it and you'll go back to the webpage you were viewing.
