I have a weird Icon that just popped up when I open my SMS folder - it looks like a black circle with an arrow pointing downward left and a little red dot on the top, it also has a 1 beside it... Can someone PLEASE tell me what this indicates and how do I get rid of it

It's an Appworld update icon. The 1 means you have one app that has an update available.

Yeah I have this too and it shows up on every screen. But... I don't have any app updates. Done everything possible to get rid of it except for calling support. *sigh*

After you have checked ALL message folders for an update notification, supposedly, 2 reboots are required to clear this icon.

I don't have Appworld, so I have never felt your pain.

you need to go into app world, it might be an old app you deleted but its still in your "my world"
