I initially had the Storm from Verizon. Couldn't handle the freezing up anymore.

I took it back and now I have the Curve from VZW. I was "assured" that it has the "real" internet on it, as did the Storm.

Well, it doesn't.

It has that awful Vstart portal.

I know there are webbrowsers out there for download, but I cant get any where in my browser to even type a web address (ie google.com, or opera.mini.com, or whatever)

Does Verizon have a MediaNet type service? It sounds like AT&T's MediaNet browser, which is ********. You have to make sure you open the real BB Browser.

You can change the start page to anything you want after Menu, Go To loads your preferred page.

Menu, Options, Browser Configuration, Set Home Page Address and Start Page options. Save.
