This is my first BB, and I don't why I have never had one before. Need a question answered after searching this site.

On the Profiles screen under Advanced, what does the " Use Active Profile Except For: Important Calls and other entries from my address book who called mean " ??? How does this feature work ??? Thanks.

"Use Active Profile Except For: Important Calls" is used to override your normal profile settings for certain calls & messages.


You may have your ringer muted, but calls from your nine-month pregnant spouse calls & your phone rings full volume.

Basically, you would have certain incomings act differently.

Now how do you determine, or select, which calls are important?

EDIT: Ok....just figured it out!
(I guess thats why I have a user guide....lol)
