I have it installed on mine. It actually learns over time. Its a bit of a pain at first but once you get used to it it beats the keyboard when your driving
Vlingo is great and it does learn everytime you correct a mistake it makes. Very good safety tool for texting/emailing while driving. Works best if u talk like a robot... Lol

Just downloaded VLingo. This program is awesome!! Can't believe it took me soo long to discover it though. I've always heard of VLingo but never knew what it was or what it did.
I downloaded Vlingo recently and I agree that it is an incredible and free software application. I was able to get it to work almost all of the time.
The only problem is that Vlingo will not work with Bluetooth which I need in my state [NJ] to use my phone and drive [it's illegal not to use a hands free device while driving]. I suppose that I could go back to a wired headset, but I really like my wireless Bluetooth.
I e-mailed Vlingo tech support and they told me that they are working on the Bluetooth issue and that someday in the future they might make it work. Unfortunately, I had to delete Vlingo from my phone so that I could go back to the regular BB voice recognition technology.
Agreed, Vlingo learns over time. However, early in our relationship it interpreted a task to write blog posts to I have balls. A bit of a surprise for my husband.

I primarily use it to open stuff that I have hidden and don't use much and to make calls while I am driving. I hardly to use it for SMS though because you get some really freaky results! LOL!!
It's a pretty nifty program and the recognition software is a lot more accurate than I expected. I don't find myself using it that often, but it's nice for quick google searches, and the "note to self" feature is pretty useful (and hilarious).
I've installed and deleted it 3 times now... each time the lure of hands-free texting and searches too much to pass up. Each time I could never seem to get beyond about 50% voice recognition, even after "practice".
I like to use Vlingo in conjunction with the BB task application and then I inject the task in to ToDoMatrix. It really speeds things up for me. Great program!
