I have been unable to view or save my jpg attachments.....it says this attachment type cannot be viewed on your device. I have the Curve 8330, will it save picture files? How? Why am I getting this message when trying to open the jpg attachment?
You need to install the BlackBerry Attachment Service. It gives users the ability to open and view email attachments in the following formats: doc, xls, ppt, wordperfect, pdf, ascii, html, jpg, bmp, gif, png, and tiff, and the zip'd versions of these. It's installed as part of the OS. If you have your OS installed on your PC, run the Desktop Manager App Loader and check the box for BlackBerry Attachment Service. If you don't have your BlackBerry OS installed on your PC, you need to do that first before you can run the App Loader to install the Attachment Service.
