I put a security lock on my Blackberry, although i don't necessarily need to lock my phone.
At times I leave my phone unattended at my desk on charge, and at times I have photos and texts that I wouldn't want to share to anyone.
...I mostly get crazy texts just offf the wall from old friends that I wouldn't want my girlfriend or co-workers to have access to (you know?).
Therefore I have placed a lock.

HOWEVER, I feel like my phone locks itself too quickly.
As in, I will just have bounced a few texts back-and-forth with somebody....then don't get another response for 5 minutes, and when another text comes back, I have to unlock my phone w/my "security word."

Basically I feel like I have to unlock my phone TOO often, Although I feel the lock is necessary.

Does anyone know a way to LENGTHEN the time it takes for your Blackberry to lock?
I feel like mine locks after 2 minutes. I'd rather it lock after like 10min.
Anybody know if that's possible?

I think 2 minutes is the max.. I might be wrong though.

edit: wait, go to options > security options > general

play around with the security timeout setting
