    No. It's not possible.

    You might take a look at the Hybrid OS versions. But if you are brand new to BlackBerry, you probably should wait and get to know the device first.

    ok cool thanks.....yes its my 1st bb....i do need to get to know more about it....just wanted to see if i can get a newer os thats all

    You can get a newer OS. The latest OS that you can put on a 8330 is OS 5.0. You can also put a hybrid OS which has some OS 6.0 files. Check out BBTweaks.com
