Just wondering how many of you use gmail as the internet mail for the phone? I check my gmail at work but when i am not at work i would like to receive it in the blackberry.

1) how do i set it so that i only receive "unread" message?

2)i still get this annoying problem with receiving sent messages even after i set the filter to not foward anything that has my name in the "from" field. Any other ways to stop this from coming to my phone? its so annoying

There is no way to make it so that you only receive unread messages. The inboxes pair up and have to match.

As far as preventing messages from yourself from arriving to your blackberry, it should work if set correctly. The filter needs to be on BIS (not on Gmail). The way I have it set up is by creating a new filter on BIS under the Gmail account, set it to "Apply filter when "From" field Contains: [email protected]
