I have a 8330 through Sprint & my laptop runs Windows Vista, my Desktop Manager is v4.5. Is there any way I can use my BB to connect to the internet, I would prefer it to be at least almost-free? My stepsister has the exact same phone & laptop as me & added something onto her plan so she could use it as a modem & ended up having to pay a bunch of money, I don't want to do the same.

i believe sprint does charge a monthly fee for tethering.

you can also use an app like Tether or PDAnet to tether with a 1 time fee only.
