I have recently configured my laptop to accept the connection to my Curve as a modem. Everything works fine (i am actually using the phone as my internet connection while posting this) but every few minutes, the computer will lose the connection and i will have to "redial".

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way to fix it?

How did you manage to get your curve to work as a modem, I am trying to get my 8800 to connect via T-Mobile UK, but I can't get it to work, if anyone can suggest anything I woudl be very grateful.

I even tried shark modem, but no luck

Only sometimes am unable to connect but am guessing that's a network problem.

Does anyone have the APN settings for t-mobile UK?

Do you ever have a popup message asking to "Redial" the connection? I happens every 10-15 minutes with mine.

Hey, this goes out to anyone,

Im having issues making my T-mobile 8320 into a modem. Followed all the steps but get the following error message when I try to dial.

Error 734 The PPP link control protocol was terminated

The LCP Extensions box is clear, so is the mulit link for single link box.

anyone knows what i can do to get this working? Willing to start from beginning.
