Can I use a female USB to male Mini USB to connect my memory stick to my BB for file transfer? They make one for about $5.00. Thought it migh be an easy way to move information.

I don't think the the Blackberry is capable of recognizing an outside data source. It's not the same as connecting it to your PC.

Doubtful, I don't believe any smartphone has ability to detect an external storage device connected to it. Just computers.

This will not work. The BlackBerry does not have a USB host controller built in. This means that it can only work as a USB drive and not as a host. Nice try but t won't work.
