New BB user, however, after several weeks of no problems,

suddenly both my computers will not recognise BB when connected with USB cable - Message usb device not recognized.

I am able to send items via Bluetooth to other devices, however, my BB will not receive bluetooth items i.e ringtones, pictures etc etc

Any help appreciated

Try a power cycle on both your BBs and PCs.

Also try different USB slots!

Ensure "Mass Storage Mode" is on as well.

What do you mean Power cycle?

tried 4 different usb ports.

Still the same error message.

Power cycle mean pull the battery and force your Curve to restart.

Do the same with your PC, that an important first step when you are having problems.
