Hi everyone. I have a blackberry pearl now and I am getting my curve in the mail today. I don't want to lose any of my info or settings besides themes i guess. But I was wondering if I were to backup my info on desktop manager and plug in the curve and press restore, if this would actually work? Please let me know!

I have never had to do this, but I would say the only thing that will change is your pin #. I run 2 BB's off my desktop manager now and don't have a problem. I just pick the correct folder with the info and it does the rest.

Use Switch Device in Desktop Manager. That's what I did when I went from pearl to curve. It transfered all my settings and PIN contacts.

If i restore the pearl info into the curve, do u think it'll all be ok?

I just went from Pearl to Curve and except for some problems with my ringtones(which is okay now) everything went smoothly. I used the 'switch from one device to the other" feature and because I do receive work emails, I did have to report my new PIN #. Other than that, Im good to go now.
