I tried to backup my bb but everytime is says there is a missing device on my phone so it will fail.

I tried to run the update anyways figuring I could get everything back i needed but again it said it could not update due to something missing from my BB

Recently I deleted my email address in an attempt to change it. Due you think I may have accidentally deleted some BIS setting on my phone and thats why im having these issues?

    Any help is much appreciated.

Do you have a recent backup? If so, plug in, restore the backup, then try again.

    A missing device?

Does it show your PIN on DM when you connect it?

The reason why you dont see your email anywhere, is you deleted it however a missing email should not prevent an upgrade

What version of DM do you have?

I tried both the newest and 4.3 both didnt work

Yes I can see my PIN # when its connected but on the newest DM it kept saying it was not properly connected :\

On 4.3 it connects fine but gives me the error above

I have no backups or id try to load one of those...

Rachel is right, you should be able to upgrade. Have you tried Crackmem? It will do a wipe and then upgrade your device.
Then remember to do regular backups.

Sorry I went away. Crackmem will wipe and reinstall. One thing to do is a 3rd party app back-up, then open crackmem's helpfile and follow directions.
