I had to get a new curve today and need to upgrade. I am having two issues:

    1. When I used the device switch in the desktop manager, my browser disappeared. I used apploader to reinstall it, but still do not have an icon? Any ideas or should I just make a launcher?

    2. I am trying to upgrade from .138 to .160. I have the software installed on my computer, and have previously successfully upgraded 4 other curves. For some reason when I hook this new one up and go to apploader the only options to upgrade are my third party apps. I downloaded the software again and when I went to run it I was given the option to repair or remove the software. I chose to repair it, but still cannot upgrade with it. Should I remove it and start over? Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks for any advice you can provide!

I may have just figured out my own issue. I went to status to see how much available memory I have and instead of having ESN numbers, I have MEID numbers. Does that mean this is that 8330m?

Yes I would use the 8330m upgrade.

I am running the most current for the 8330m. My reg. 8330 that I killed yesterday was running on .160. No fun.

Have you got your browser back yet?

If not go to Options/Advanced Options/Host Routing Table press menu and select Register Now.
