My phone is not a 8330m, it's an 8330...will that download work?

No it wont work on a non M device. The 8330M and 8330 are different

Can someone, anyone please help me out here...I received my replacement phone today and instead of it being esn numbers like my other curve, this dang thing has meid numbers. None of the downloads that I did with the previous curve will work now on this phone. None of the links up top seem to be what I need.

When I went into options-about...it say 8330, there's no m beside it.

Can someone answer the "m" question...because I don't know if it's classified as an 8330m or not, in this case.

if there is no m then it is not an m. The M's do normally have MEID's but if its a recon who knows. The M's were the refresh ones.
The M as i understand is just for MEID due to over using esn's. MEID's are longer. Although it could me Media due to the Sprint version as i understand gets picture mail directly on the phone with the 8330M rather than having to go to a link on the 8330

I tested it and the pics don't come directly through to the phone. This puzzles me. Can someone advise me as to how I can upgrade from this 4.5.0.77 os? On my previous 8330, I had 4.5.0.138. And I would like to go to that one or ANYTHING higher than this .77!

I've got the same Alltel/Verizon phone. Under about mine says its just an 8330 but under status it had MEID (dec) and MEID (hex) numbers. I havent tried to upgrade from 4.5.0.77 yet because nobody seems to know if the these phones are considered 8330M or 8330.

That's exactly how mine is...and I don't want to start doing a whole lot of experimental downloading and then be right back where I was...with a jacked up phone. Maybe someone with some knowledge of this, will eventually read this thread and offer us some help!

No Problem , Just Remember Before U Run The App Loader To Delete The Vendor Xml File

The steps that show on my computer are:

Program files
Research in motion
Blackberry
from there it doesn't show apploader or vendor files.

Can someone advise?

Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."

After the Research in motion...my next option is "Blackberry", it doesn't show apploader.

After I click into the Blackberry folder...there is no apploader folder available to select.

Sexxy U In The Wrong Folder . Its Not Program Files -> Research In Motion. You Have To Go To program Files -> Common Files -> Research In Mortion -> App Loader.
