Hello Ive had my blackberry curve 8330 about 3 weeks now. I see all of the different OS on here and such. I really have no clue about how to update my phone and such. What are the advantages doing so and which one is for me?

Bug fixes, better browser, html email, video camera are some things that you will get with 4.5 if you are not on it as is....

hmm I went to options>about> if thats right...my OS is v4.5.0.89

Depends on the OS version on your BB. Options > About, 3rd line. If it's OS 4.5 close in number (the last .XXX) then probably no real benefit for you. Better to wait and get familiar with the whole process. If it's < than 4.5 there some great features including video camera, HTML email larger SD card support.

No reason to upgrade IMO if you are not having issues, you are on 4.5 as is........

OS's are device dependent. Doesn't matter what carrier it's from.

I advise you to get familiar with your BB first since you are already on 4.5 before making any OS changes. Unless you are experiencing any problems.

alright thanks alot, I am not having any problems and just saw where people are updating theirs and such. Just didnt know if I should mess with it, dont think I will for now..
